Global Supply Chain Specialist

The role of a Global Supply Chain Specialist involves developing accurate demand forecasts and ensuring optimal supply planning across the globe.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for a portfolio of brands to ensure effective supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align forecasts with market trends and promotional activities, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze demand variances, identify trends, and drive improvements in forecast accuracy to minimize stockouts and optimize inventory levels.
  • Monitor supply outlook and inventory levels to support supply planning, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles, providing data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Communicate supply risks and implement recovery plans to mitigate disruptions and maintain business continuity.
  • Ensure data integrity across planning systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information to support informed decision-making.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage supply issues, ensuring transparency and collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in forecasting and inventory management, driving process excellence and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • A university degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience in demand and supply planning, forecasting, and inventory management within FMCG.
  • A strong understanding of customer service, order management, and physical distribution systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with experience working across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing circumstances as needed.
  • Proficiency in planning tools and systems such as SAP, JDA Demand, BW, and Microsoft Office, with experience using data analytics software to drive business insights.
