Food Service Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Service Assistant to join our team in York, Western Australia.

The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality food and beverages to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for delivering great service, and a fantastic eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Prepare food and beverage products according to established standards
  • Perform cleaning tasks as prescribed by procedures or directed by the supervisor
  • Communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding catering-related issues and needs
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good understanding of health and safety protocols
  • Cert III in Cookery or Hospitality (desired but not essential)
  • Capacity to lift up to 20kg
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical checks
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
