Job Title: Regional Football Participation Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Regional Football Participation Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing football participation programs across the Whitsunday Coast region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the effective delivery of football competitions and participation programs across the region
  • Develop strong working relationships with affiliated football clubs and key stakeholders involved in the game
  • Create a positive and inclusive environment that enhances the enjoyment and engagement of participants
  • Deliver high-standard customer service and administrative tasks
  • Contribute to strategic outcomes of Football Queensland and the Region
Key Performance Indicators
  • Achieve agreed targets in school-based programs
  • Launch social/participation programs at Mackay Football Park (Summer 6's, Community)
  • Identify and implement new participation opportunities
  • FQ development programs meet participation and financial targets in the Whitsunday Coast Region
  • Participation numbers in development programs (e.g., junior development, women's football)
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviour Required
  • AFC C license or Football Australia recognised equivalent
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • FA community coach educator tutor experience (advanced instructor qualification is an advantage) or teaching experience
  • Work experience in a regional environment
  • Football knowledge and playing/coaching experience
  • Demonstrated organisational and administrative skills
