ICT Systems Engineer

Defence is seeking experienced ICT Engineers to analyze complex engineering issues, applying expertise to identify and implement solutions within an agile methodology.

  • Deliver high-level and detailed Systems Engineering Designs.
  • Research, present, and participate in solution development activities.
  • Apply Defence ICT standards and architecture roadmaps for application design, integration, platforms, and Cyber principles to support consistent enterprise ICT solutions delivery.
  • Write technical briefs, design decisions, System Engineering documents, presentations, and reports per Defence standards.

This role involves collaboration with project managers, senior team members, and subject matter experts to achieve outcomes. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders and have the ability to work independently and under broad direction.

About This Role

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Skills and experience in ICT solutions design, solutions architecture, software engineering, and systems integration.
  • Experience in application design, system integration of modern ICT platforms and applications, and designing application features to meet performance and security standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • A proactive and innovative mindset.
