Job Opportunity: Forest Health Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team in developing and implementing statewide forest health initiatives.

This role involves working closely with regions and districts to collect data and information, coordinating planning, delivery, monitoring, and reporting of forest health initiatives, as well as collaborating with Traditional Owner groups.

The successful candidate will develop and refine standards and doctrine to support forest health and resilience initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate planning and delivery of forest health initiatives
  • Collaborate with regions, districts, and other stakeholders
  • Develop and refine standards and doctrine
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in natural resource management or a related field
  • Experience in forest management, preferably in a leadership or coordination role
  • Desirable: GIS skills and experience in project coordination
