Financial Counselling Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Financial Counselling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide consultation, support and professional supervision to our financial counselling program staff.

About the Role

This role is focused on delivering high-quality financial counselling services to clients in need. You will work closely with our team to build capacity and lead best practice within the team.

  • Provide financial counselling casework to clients, including individual and group advocacy and negotiation.
  • Work with the Manager and Team Leader to build capacity within the broader team.
  • Contribute to collaboration with other programs where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have significant previous relevant experience in the field and hold a Diploma of Community Services (Financial Counselling). They will be eligible to become an accredited professional supervisor and have a current driver's licence.

You will be required to travel and work overnight when necessary.
