Job Opportunity

We're seeking a driven and multi-skilled journalist to join our newsroom. The successful applicant will be responsible for sourcing and writing broadcast news in our vital market.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience writing news stories
  • Tertiary qualification in journalism or communications
  • Exceptional communication and written skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines
  • An understanding of Broadcast Law Guidelines

About the Role

This is an opportunity to work with a team that's passionate about delivering news that matters. As a journalist, you'll be responsible for generating original story ideas, interviewing sources, and researching and preparing news reports.

You'll also have the opportunity to develop and maintain contacts in the community and create effective and respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
