Job Summary

Lead Cost Accounting Transformation Specialist

Join a leading organization in driving transformational change by spearheading cost accounting and supply chain finance initiatives within our Oracle Fusion ERP implementation project. As a seasoned expert, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and testing cost accounting modules while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement costing methodologies, including standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, GTS, and external consultants to design, configure, and test cost accounting modules.
  • Define and document costing methodologies, including standard costing, actual costing, and variance analysis.
  • Drive data migration and validation activities related to inventory, BOMs, routings, and cost elements.
  • Develop and implement controls and reporting for inventory and cost accounting within the new ERP system.
  • Drive change management and training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes by regional teams and develop power users.
  • Monitor project milestones, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely and quality execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA preferred).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in finance roles, with at least 5 years in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation, specifically in Cost Management or Inventory Accounting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory valuation, and inventory flow principles.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
