We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Classroom Teacher to join our supportive team at St Mary's Catholic School in Wellington, NSW.
About the Role
- Develop and implement quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods to promote student growth and development.
- Create a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.
- Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.
- Collaborate with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.
- Provide student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.
About You
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
- Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.
- Demonstrate a commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities and a capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice in a professional learning team.
- The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation.
- The ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding.
- Up to date knowledge of NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements for all stages.
