Job Title: Specialist Nursing Professional

This is a challenging and rewarding work environment that requires the professional development of all nursing staff across our clinical settings. The Specialist Nurse will ensure best practice by providing ongoing education and support for all staff with particular focus on the advancement of knowledge, skills and training with relevance to the clinical setting.

  • The Specialist Nurse will facilitate the development of nursing staff through targeted education programs and clinical support, including graduate, postgraduate, and specialty practice pathways.
  • They will work closely with NUMs, Managers, educators, preceptors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience across allocated clinical area.
  • Assist in the development of education resources, policy updates, and best-practice initiatives; integrating feedback, research, and digital tools to enhance program outcomes.
  • Promote reflective practice, maintain clinical competence, and model the values of compassion, integrity, justice, and excellence.

This role will be based at St Vincent's campus in Fitzroy with the expectation of travel to other campuses as required.
