**Job Title:** Technical Work Package Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled coordinator to support our technology planning function.

The core objectives of the Technology Planning function are to improve visibility of demand on technology resources by proactively engaging with projects to identify technology-enabled work packages, provide projects with a clear view on the capability and cost of resources to deliver against technology-enabled work packages, own and communicate the short term and long term plans for program and project related resourcing demand, and improve responsiveness of technology delivery within projects through continuous planning of resourcing needs and identification of optimal resourcing options to deliver agreed ICT work packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with Program Managers and Project Managers to understand the technology-related work packages required to support program and project delivery.
  • Facilitating workshops with technical specialists to define work package scope against project needs.
  • Developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for work packages, outlining resource requirement, indicative cost, quality, priority, timeframes, and risks.
  • Coordinating resourcing to support demand planning for successful technology related work package delivery.
  • Tracking and mapping the progress of technology work packages against a master plan.
  • Identifying synergies to optimise delivery of work packages and WBS elements.
  • Effectively managing conflicts, change requests, priorities, risks and issues across technology work packages.
  • Developing, maintaining, and owning the overall technology resourcing plans (short term and long term).

Requirements:

  • Experience as a technical lead or technical project coordinator.
  • Eligibility for Australian Government Security Clearance eligibility (Baseline).
  • Experience with Agile.
  • A focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Sets high standards for quality and quantity.
  • Applies specialist and detailed technical expertise.
  • Works strategically to realise organisational goals.
  • Demonstrates financial awareness.

Qualifications:

  • An Information Technology degree from an Australian Tertiary Institution or equivalent experience in a Technical domain.
  • PRINCE2 certification or relevant project management or project coordinator experience.
