Theatre Technician Role

As a theatre technician, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our operating suite.

  • You will assist clinicians and team members with patient preparation, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Preparation and maintenance of operating suite equipment is also an essential part of this role, requiring attention to detail and strong technical skills.
  • You will be responsible for providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers, prioritizing patient safety and comfort at all times.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess good communication skills, be able to demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients, and have a strong ability to work well under pressure.

A Cert III Theatre Technician qualification or above is highly desirable, as is experience working in a similar environment. If you are a motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
