Cyber Security Specialist Role

This is a permanent full-time position working within the Information Technology Team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring access to all IT managed systems across the organisation's environment is authorised, registered and controlled to prevent accidental or malicious damage to data and equipment.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing security standards, policies and current practical security measures.
  • Ensuring security standards are kept current and fully documented.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to prevent and mitigate security risks.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An Information Security related qualification.
  • Extensive recent experience in an IT Security role.
  • Able to navigate and analyse complex problems with a focus on resolution and finding solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and build productive working relationships at all levels of the organisation and external stakeholders.
