IT Service Resolution Expert

This role involves delivering high-quality service resolutions in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding agreed service levels and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert technical support to business users and clients through proactive system problem-solving and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and IT teams to ensure seamless issue resolution and adherence to team SLAs.
  • Complete regular scheduled tasks to drive team performance and meet customer expectations.
  • Contribute to the scoping of system changes and minimize downtime by liaising with development teams, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to enhance overall performance delivered to customers and commit to continuous improvement.
  • Participate in after-hours and weekend support rotations.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in financial services or securities industry, including Registry, Broking, Exchange, Superannuation, or Trading.
  • Experience with TIBCO, J2EE, Java, JSP, Websphere / Weblogic, Apache, SOAP, SQL Query writing advantageous.
  • Prior knowledge of ServiceNow and ITIL principles preferred.
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in IT financial services.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills essential for effective collaboration and issue escalation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of Desktop PC operating systems highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of Network Infrastructure systems and technologies.
  • Proven documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good problem-solving skills leading to business solutions and improvements necessary.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment with a pleasant and helpful personality.
