Participation Development Manager

The Participation Coordinator role focuses on driving participation growth through targeted recruitment and delivery of programs to schools and clubs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to increase centre numbers, building relationships with schools and enhancing participant experience.
- Promote programs through assemblies, clinics, and other activities to meet participant targets.
- Ensure programs are delivered in line with curriculum requirements and provide a safe environment for participants.
- Implement transition and retention strategies from AFL programs to junior club football.
- Liaise with teachers, schools, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality school football competitions and programs.
- Organize player visits and fan engagement opportunities, working closely with Junior Community Clubs to build inclusive environments and pathways.
- Lead by example with data input and contribute to key projects.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a passion for working with children.
- Able to work autonomously with strong organization and planning skills.
- Proven customer service skills, including negotiation abilities.
- Ability to relate to and engage diverse communities, with a driver's license for regional travel.
- Demonstrated knowledge and interest in Australian Football.
