Technical Transition and O&M Readiness Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

As a Technical Transition and O&M Readiness Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth technical transition to business-as-usual (BAU) operations at the Western Sydney International Airport (WSIA) Program.

You will lead the development and delivery of all technical transition and O&M-related materials and artefacts, including maintenance plans, work instructions, technical training materials, logistics support requirements and plans, configuration management, engineering change support, and contributions to verification and validation (V&V), commissioning, and overall O&M readiness activities.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Perform systems engineering tasks in accordance with the Airservices' Technology Management Framework (TMF) and other relevant processes, policies, and guidelines.
  • Develop maintenance and life-cycle logistic support plans.
  • Develop work processes and instructions.
  • Implement work processes within the CMMS (SAP, ServiceNow).
  • Support integration and testing activities.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary engineering qualification that is accredited by Engineers Australia in the Professional Engineer Category.
  • Experience in Maintenance Engineering, with at least 3 years' experience in a leading position, and at least 3 of the following areas:
    • ISO55001
    • ISO15288
    • RCM, FMECA, Maintenance Task Analysis, Maintenance optimisation process
    • Use, Configure and implement CMMS (Such as SAP, ServiceNow, Maximo)
    • Project Engineering – in design, construction, commissioning, and technical readiness
    • Managing engineering changes
  • CPEng, NER, CAMA (preferable)
  • Held a previous Project Engineering position, within the Aviation, Rail, Oil & Gas, or Utilities industries.
