Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Major Projects Design Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects.

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and coaching to design staff. You will also implement processes, manage external design work, engage with stakeholders, foster innovation, and deliver high-quality design work.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering and RPEQ registration in a relevant field. They will also have significant technical leadership experience in Secondary Systems design, proven ability to manage resources, budgets, timeframes, and quality outcomes, strong knowledge of Australian and International Standards, legislation, and regulations, and demonstrated problem-solving capability and drive to innovate beyond current standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering degree and RPEQ registration
  • Significant technical leadership experience in Secondary Systems design
  • Proven ability to manage resources, budgets, timeframes, and quality outcomes
  • Strong knowledge of Australian and International Standards, legislation, and regulations
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capability and drive to innovate beyond current standards
