About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Beacon Lighting in Ballina. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales and service professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and service team to achieve sales and profit targets
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage and maintain a high-performing sales and service team, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and control store inventory, including ordering and receiving stock
  • Manage store visual merchandising and display to ensure a visually appealing store environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of store marketing and promotional activities
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives and goals
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience in a retail or sales management role
  • Proven track record of delivering sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred
