Secondary Science Educator Opportunity

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Science educator to join our team at a rural college. The successful candidate will demonstrate that they:

  • Plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve specific student outcomes.
  • Use critical reflection to improve the knowledge, learning and skills of students.
  • Use multiple sources of feedback on their classroom practice to inform their professional learning goals.
  • Show a willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching and learning within the school and the wider educational system.
  • Can support and actively promote, and not undermine, the Christian-based values and ethos of the college based on its mission.
  • Have the capacity to teach the Australian curriculum in the context of the college's Christian-based ethos.
  • Can plan for and lead daily Christian-based class devotions to students.

  • Bachelor of Education.
  • VIT Registered Teacher.
