Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Senior Lecturer - Rural ILP Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to rural medical education.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the Independent Learning Project (ILP) program
    • Support rural research initiatives
    • Contribute to the academic education program at the campus

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A BMedMD, MBBS or equivalent medical degree with relevant professional expertise and eligible for medical registration in NSW.
  • Evidence and maintenance of professional development in pedagogy, disciplinary knowledge and professional accreditation requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching in biomedical sciences, clinical medicine and/or related health discipline including development, delivery and course convening at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
  • A strong commitment to rurally focussed teaching and research to improve patient and local healthcare outcomes.
  • A track record of successful interaction and involvement with relevant authorities, professional organisations, research and training institutes and health networks.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills.
