The role of an Electrotechnology Lecturer involves delivering high-quality training and assessment to students, with a focus on developing diverse learning resources and teaching methodologies.
This position requires the ability to create a safe and conducive learning environment in workshops and simulated training settings, as well as engaging with a diverse student population including adult learners and school-age students.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver comprehensive training in Electrotechnology, utilizing effective teaching methodologies and developing engaging learning materials.
- Maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to relevant safety protocols and procedures.
- Engage with students from diverse backgrounds, providing individualized support and guidance as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in Electrotechnology, with a strong understanding of relevant technical skills and knowledge.
- Electrical qualifications, minimum Certificate III in Electrical, with a current Unrestricted Electrical License.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122) is highly desirable, as well as experience across different sectors of Electrotechnology.
- Promote the development of inclusive and contemporary teaching methodologies, aligning with the latest industry trends and best practices.
- Contribute to the growth and success of students, supporting their academic and professional development.
- Must provide evidence of a valid Working with Children Check prior to employment.
- Flexibility is essential for this role, with potential requirements for out-of-hours work and some intrastate and interstate travel.
