Job Overview

The role of a Solutions Developer involves providing technical expertise in designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining networking infrastructure and satcom systems. This includes developing configurations for hardware components, supporting and maintaining internal network infrastructure and customer-facing networks, diagnosing issues with end-to-end solutions, and implementing corrective maintenance strategies.

This position requires a strong understanding of IP networking and IT or satellite communications technologies, as well as experience with Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems. The ideal candidate will have formal trade qualification in Australian Electrotechnology/Telecommunications/IP Networking Certificate VI standard or equivalent tertiary industry qualification, and a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.

As a Solutions Developer, you will work collaboratively with a diverse team to provide training and support to clients, and participate in pre-sales support, demonstrations, and exhibitions. You will also be responsible for assembling and testing custom solutions to meet specific client needs.

Requirements
  • Formal trade qualification in Australian Electrotechnology/Telecommunications/IP Networking Certificate VI standard or equivalent tertiary industry qualification.
  • Minimum 4 years of industry experience in IP networking and IT or satellite communications technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems, ability to develop and apply configurations to IP networking hardware.
