As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a world-class search engine product using best practices and techniques. The core team is working on significant enhancements to the search engine core, focusing on cutting-edge technologies like AI/ML integration.
Responsibilities:- Create, improve, and maintain code with a focus on back-end development of the search engine core
- Contribute towards improving the existing code base, including C/C++ uplift
- Develop robust application code that meets all technical requirements
- Apply best development practices across all work
- Write and maintain software documentation
- Experience with C/C++ coding languages; knowledge of Java would also be beneficial
- Understanding of information retrieval and/or machine learning principles
- Good understanding of testing principles and frameworks
- Knowledge of extensible, modular software design
- A self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills
