We are seeking a highly skilled geriatrician to join our multidisciplinary team at Ipswich Hospital.

  • The post holder will lead ward rounds on our virtual ward, supported by a staff grade doctor or SpR.
  • The post holder may act as clinical supervisor for the junior team, involving daily consultant-led board rounds on an online platform.
  • The post holder will provide appropriate clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary ward team and have scheduled time working in the Emergency Department as part of the FIT team.

About the Role
  • Inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register for Geriatrics or within six months of expected date of CCT (or be eligible for entry onto these registers within 6 months of application).
