About The RoleRipley Specialised Inpatient Services is a state-of-the-art facility that will deliver 90 additional beds in West Moreton as part of Queensland Health's Accelerated Infrastructure Delivery Program. The project will deliver a three-storey facility located on Botany Drive, South Ripley. It is located on the Ripley Health Campus and is co-located with the current Satellite Health Centre.
About YouOur ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- High level ability to apply advanced knowledge in pharmacy including knowledge of the healthcare system, advanced computer literacy, medical terminology, and general medical conditions.
- High level communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate, supervise and liaise effectively, with an understanding of the scope of practice in a complex and demanding work environment.
- Strong ability to initiate, plan, perform and evaluate quality improvement activities under the guidance of a registered pharmacist.
- High level of ability to provide a defined range of advaned pharmacy services to people with variable health literacy, under the supervision of a pharmacists.
- High level knowledge of pharmacy funding arrangements (including the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and Special Access Scheme), clinical trials management, good manufacturing practice and current Australian pharmacy professional standards and guidelines.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
