About the Role

The Senior Application Support Analyst will play a key role in enhancing our team by bridging the gap between functional and technical support. We are looking for a positive individual who excels in teamwork and collaboration, leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced application support for corporate systems, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
  • Bring innovative ideas and technology skills to streamline and improve system processes, enhancing overall efficiency and user experience
  • Act as a liaison between business users and IT, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements and solutions
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including support procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Support Analysts, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively suggesting improvements and upgrades to existing systems
  • Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to successful implementation of new applications and enhancements
Requirements
  • A Tertiary Qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in application support with a focus on corporate systems, including Council's Property and Rating, CRM, Financials and Asset Management. Preferably Pathway, Oracle Fusion and CONFIRM
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL management, PowerBi, ETL processes and system integration using FTP and REST APIs
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Satisfactory National Police Check
