Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct security reviews of code, applications, and systems to identify vulnerabilities and recommend fixes.
- Implement and oversee secure coding practices, threat modeling, and security design reviews.
- Develop and maintain security tools, policies, and guidelines.
- Investigate, prioritize, and resolve security vulnerabilities across applications.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and vulnerabilities.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Strong technical background with 5+ years of experience in application security.
- Proven experience working with security tools and platforms.
- Expertise in identifying and remediating vulnerabilities, secure coding, and application hardening.
- Knowledge of security engineering and software engineering principles.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Familiarity with industry standards and secure development frameworks.
Desirable Skills
