About the Role

Spry Support Services is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Coordinator of Disability Services to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of Shift Supervisors and Support Workers to deliver high-quality disability support services.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, families, health professionals, and other organizations to ensure continuity of care and support.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing support and supervision to staff to identify and meet their learning needs.
  • Ensure all service records, site documentation, and reports are maintained to a high standard and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Develop and review clients' support plans and risk assessments to ensure their needs are met.
  • Promote community integration for clients through person-centered participation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Coordinator of Disability Services role.
  • Relevant tertiary-level qualification in disability and mental health.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a culturally and linguistically diverse environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor team members to foster independence and increase local ownership of the service.
  • Comprehensive understanding of community networks and relevant legislation, such as the NDIS.
