Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of $31-$36 per hour, plus superannuation, as well as incentives for all staff, flexible rosters, and a room leader opportunity available for those who desire it. Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and stimulating environment, free from hazards, with clean and organized spaces for learning and play.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, incorporating sensory play, art and crafts, language development exercises, storytelling, and structured play.
  • Facilitate learning and exploration through engagement and stimulation, fostering curiosity and creativity in young children.
  • Provide comprehensive care and support, including feeding, diapering, toileting, and assisting with independence, self-help skills, and personal hygiene routines.

Requirements

  • Residency in Australia with a valid VISA allowing work rights.
  • Diploma in ECE or ACECQA equivalent qualification.
  • Current first aid, CPR, child protection, asthma, and anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain).
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Desirable experience in the Baby Room; two professional references from the most recent employer.
