We are seeking an experienced Brewer to lead our brewing team at our main production facility in North Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Brewing Department to ensure product quality and output are achieved efficiently and effectively.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the brewing team, working with renowned beers such as Wayfarer Tropical Pale Ale, 7 Bells Sour, and Windjammer IPA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning team and contribute to the success of our brewery.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping standards within the brewing department.
  • Support the Head Brewer in managing and improving flavour stability.
  • Lead brewing projects to enhance product quality and output.
  • Develop brewing plans in collaboration with the Production Manager and lead the brewing team to meet production targets.
  • Apply problem-solving and decision-making techniques to overcome challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Able to work safely and perform manual tasks associated with the role.
  • 5-7 years of experience in brewing or a related field.
  • Understanding of process control in a brewing environment.
  • Assertiveness and analytical skills.
  • Proven technical brewing knowledge and ability.
