Job Opportunity
">We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to individuals with mental health and disability needs.
">Key Responsibilities:
">Provide 2:1 active hours and 1:1 overnight sleepover support to a female consumer three shifts a week.
">Meet the individual needs according to an established behavioral support plan.
">Develop professional relationships with individuals, their families, and others in the community.
">Provide accurate and timely case notes to ensure a consistent experience for consumers.
">Support consumers to work towards their individual goals in their own home or community setting.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
">A passion for improving the lives of those living with mental disorders and psychosocial disabilities.
">Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
">The ability to work autonomously and within a team.
">Prior experience supporting people with mental disorders where challenging behaviors are common is highly regarded.
