Job Overview:
  • We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in railway track and civil engineering roles, including projects related to freight and/or passenger railways within WA or wider Australia.
About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will lead production of technical deliverables in railway track and civil engineering, reviewing and checking all disciplines as required.
  • Promoting innovation and ensuring the application of best engineering practices and design tools is essential for this role.
  • Collaboration with other disciplines to produce high-quality project deliverables for complex railway and civil infrastructure designs is also expected.
  • This role involves developing and maintaining client relationships at project and local market levels, promoting business development opportunities.
  • Working closely with our network of senior professionals, engineers, designers, and drafters to share knowledge and broaden skills is crucial.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in railway track and civil engineering roles.
  • Detailed knowledge of railway planning and design, especially track alignment, earthworks, and the inter-relationship with drainage, geotechnical, and structural disciplines across various project stages.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent overseas recognition is preferred.
