Apprentice Painter Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Apprentice Painter to join our team in the Housing and Public Works Department.

This is a hands-on apprenticeship program designed to provide comprehensive training in painting and decorating. You will work under the guidance of skilled tradespeople and complete off-the-job training with accredited institutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong manual skills, be able to follow safety protocols and procedures, and demonstrate effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical tasks as instructed by supervisors
  • Understand and follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Demonstrate respect for others and communicate effectively

Requirements:

  • Aged 15 years or older at commencement
  • Eligible to work in Australia (permanent residency)
  • Completed Year 10 with passes in Maths and English
  • Able to transport yourself and tools to work/training sites
  • Willing to obtain a Construction Industry White Card before starting
