We are seeking a highly skilled Research Officer to join our Systems Immunology group, led by Dr Seyhan Yazar, in the Precision Immunology Program. About the RoleThe Research Officer will conduct original research under limited supervision, making contributions in multiple areas, including:
- Completion of research projects in an efficient and timely manner, with outcomes published in peer-reviewed journals
- Contribution to team and Garvan research projects
- Presentation of original research at national/international scientific conferences
- Co-supervision and mentoring of students and junior research staff
- Provision of supervisory assistance in preparation of research grant proposals
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD degree in a related area of science or engineering, or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will have good statistical knowledge and programming skills, as well as experience in analysing and interpreting genomics data. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
