**Job Summary**

The role of Associate Director is pivotal in driving effective governance and promoting a collaborative organisational culture. As a leader, you will oversee the Governance Unit, ensuring high-quality board materials, support strategic initiatives, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Governance Unit to ensure accurate, clear, and consistent board papers.
  • Support senior leadership including the Chief Executive, Executive teams, and other senior staff in efficient processes and workflows.
  • Provide advice on governance best practices, coaching others to improve the quality of their written work.
  • Manage a diverse team to achieve goals, foster a positive and collaborative work environment, and effectively address challenges.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive organisational success and promote a culture of inclusivity, sustainability, and growth.

Requirements:

For this role, we are seeking an individual with significant relevant experience, exceptional writing, proofreading, and reviewing skills, as well as strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent consultative and communication styles, negotiation and influencing skills, and a deep understanding of corporate governance principles.
