Key Responsibilities">

  • Detailed histories of residents will be compiled from residents and/or family members to identify care needs.">
  • Accurate documentation of care delivery will be maintained.">
  • Resident care plans will be developed, implemented, and regularly evaluated.">
  • Direct clinical care of residents will be assisted, including personal hygiene, massage therapy, pain management, and GP rounds.">
  • Medications to residents will be administered and correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures ensured.">

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).">
  • Knowledge of the Residential Classification Scale and Standards for Aged Care.">
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to acquire.">
  • NDIS Workers Check.">
  • Knowledge of the standards required by the government for the delivery of aged care.">
  • Understanding of the Commonwealth Aged Care Funding Instrument.">
  • Satisfaction of the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening.">
