Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic fundraising leader to join our Development team as part of the Philanthropy team. The successful candidate will drive growth in philanthropic income, oversee major gift programs, Trusts & Foundations activity, and multi-year campaigns.

About the Role
  • The Senior Philanthropy Manager will build and steward relationships with major donors, develop innovative fundraising strategies, and play a key role in shaping the future of arts philanthropy.
  • You will have a proven track record in major gifts fundraising, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and experience leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to manage complex campaigns and deliver against ambitious fundraising targets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to achieve growth in philanthropic income.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with major donors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Lead the Philanthropy team and provide guidance on major gift programs, Trusts & Foundations activity, and multi-year campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and develop solutions that meet the organization's fundraising goals.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in major gifts fundraising, with a strong understanding of donor psychology and behavior.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with major donors and stakeholders.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
