About the RoleThis is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older people, promoting their dignity, life, and spirituality through connected and inclusive communities.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures.
- Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team.
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents closely following all policies and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
- Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar.
- Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues.
- Strong coaching/training skills.
- Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
