Discover a career-shaping opportunity to transition into acute care nursing. Healthscope's 8-week Transition to Acute Care Nursing Program is designed for experienced enrolled nurses (ENs) looking to develop their skills and expertise in a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Description- The program provides a comprehensive learning experience, including on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring from highly experienced clinical facilitators.
- Participants will work closely with their peers to develop their knowledge and skills in acute care nursing, while also gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Through this program, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a real-world setting
- Improve your communication and teamwork skills through collaboration with colleagues and patients
- Gain exposure to various specialties and departments within the hospital
- Benefit from dedicated support and guidance from experienced clinicians
Requirements
- A minimum of two years' experience as an EN in aged care, community nursing, rehabilitation, cosmetic nursing, or a GP practice
- Current APHRA registration as an EN
- Permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions
- A National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
