Townsville Catholic Education is seeking a skilled and dedicated Groundsperson (casual position) to join our team. As a Groundsperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our school grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and repair grounds-related issues to ensure maximum safety and efficiency
  • Maintain lawns, trim trees, and perform other groundskeeping tasks
  • Assist with upkeep and upgrading of school grounds and gardens
  • Perform minor repairs to college property and equipment
  • Assist with setting up for school functions and displays
  • Other related duties as reasonably requested by the Principal

Requirements

  • Current Working with Children Suitability Card
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to travel within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the role in a safe manner

Desirable Criteria

  • Relevant certificate or trade qualification

This position requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for groundskeeping, we encourage you to apply.
