Job Title: Lead Estimator Advisor
We are seeking a seasoned estimator to lead our estimating efforts. The successful candidate will oversee the implementation and ongoing support of all estimating systems and functions on large or complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a customer-centric culture within the estimating team, ensuring the preparation of accurate cost estimates for each stage of the project life cycle.
- Ensure consistency in cost estimates produced on behalf of the business, adhering to standard procedures.
- Assist other groups within the organization with the preparation of cost estimates for project development.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, recognizing the importance of knowledge sharing and utilization.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in major project estimating, specializing in process plants.
- Strong technical understanding, preferably from a degree in engineering, construction trade qualification, quantity surveying or equivalent industry experience.
- Understanding of the engineering and construction industries, particularly in mining.
- Proficiency in estimating software systems and advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent analytical data skills, self-motivation, reliability, and ability to work within a team.
