About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Surveyor to join our team in Canberra, Australia. As a key member of our land surveying group, you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and consulting on greenfield land development projects.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to business strategy and direction, oversee cadastral surveys for developers, authorities, and the public sector, and collaborate with other skilled professionals across our multidisciplinary organisation.

  • Lead a team managing field components of cadastral surveys, focusing on client relationships, signing plans, and managing submissions of survey documents and plans.
  • Build and maintain enduring relationships with key clients, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Liaise with contractors, clients, landowners, local authorities, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Apply project management principles to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Pursue new and existing opportunities for business growth within the survey team and promote our service offerings for relevant projects.
  • Mentor, train, develop, and supervise junior surveyors and technicians, demonstrating quality leadership.

About You

We seek a motivated and adaptable Registered Surveyor with:

  • Demonstrated expertise in cadastral surveys, legislation, and subdivisional processes, including experience in deposited plan/land titling.

  • Excellent consulting skills, including business acumen and demonstrated leadership capability.
  • The ability to manage and develop others in a range of survey-related technologies and software.
