Job Overview:

We are seeking a casual pool of experienced HC-licensed drivers undertaking local & regional work.

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals required to display a commitment to their compliance standards and values.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate a multi- or heavy combination vehicle on a day-to-day basis
  • Perform daily pre-start checks on vehicle and MHE equipment
  • Work based in Truganina, Melbourne Metro area
  • Complete con notes/run sheets and ensure collection of critical documents
  • Maintain adherence to the Driver Manual and customer safety goals in direct areas of responsibility
  • Record load weight in accordance with HVM regulations

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in the industry (refrigeration experience preferred)
  • Extensive experience with coupling and uncoupling trailers, setting up Double & Semi combinations
  • Good understanding of load restraint principles
  • Possess an HC Licence
  • Demonstrate high customer service skills, good communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Have a good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
  • Exhibit a mature attitude with the ability to work independently
