About the Role

This position plays a crucial part in ensuring effective resource allocation and management within our department. The Senior Budget Analyst will be responsible for assisting with operational tasks, maintaining budget systems, and contributing to accurate data management.

The role requires working under guidance to provide a client-focused approach to service delivery and supports the integration of resourcing processes with broader departmental systems. In addition, the position involves preparing budget and resourcing advice, analyzing and reporting data, and supporting the development and review of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with operational tasks related to budgeting and resource allocation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date budget systems
  • Contribute to the preparation of budget and resourcing advice
  • Provide analysis and reporting on financial and staffing resources
Requirements
  • Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
  • A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification
  • Eligible for membership of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand or Certified Practising Accountants or equivalent qualifications
