
Railway Track Maintenance Specialist

The Role of a Track Inspector involves ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of rail tracks.
This includes inspecting sections of track, identifying defects, and verifying compliance with business procedures.
Main Responsibilities include:
- Inspecting track sections and prioritizing faults in line with business procedures.
- Addressing incidents and faults when escalated and providing support to Skilled Operatives.
- Investigating and preparing technical, administrative, or incident reports as required.
- Certifying track works completed by other parties as needed.
- Leading daily pre and post work meetings, demonstrating key company values.
About You:
- Cert II in Rail Infrastructure (Track Work) - mandatory.
- Cert III in Rail Infrastructure (Track Work) - mandatory.
- Competency skill set for Track Inspection - mandatory.
- Possession of a current Victorian driver's license.
- Qualified Safeworking Track Force Protection Co-ordinator 3.1.
- First Aid Certified Level 2.
- Experience as a Track Way Maintainer, with track maintenance or renewal experience.
