Senior Maintenance Supervisor

This role oversees the supervision of staff engaged in repairs and maintenance of a large fleet of buses.
Main Responsibilities:- Supervise up to 30 staff from various trades including Mechanics, Body Repairers, Spray painters, Auto Electricians, Trade Assistants, Apprentices, contractors, suppliers, and couriers.
- Collaborate with the relevant Manager to develop strategies and coordinate daily workshop activities ensuring compliance with relevant contractual requirements.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure components are operational and vehicles meet required standards.
- A current NSW MVTC Motor Mechanic trade certificate or an equivalent trade qualification with relevant experience and bus knowledge.
- A current HC drivers licence (or have a C class licence and be willing to obtain an HC licence upon commencement).
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment such as bus maintenance or public transport operations.
- Proficiency in recording accurate maintenance information using computer systems.
- A monthly rostered day off due to working a 40 hour week.
- Five weeks annual leave for those working a rotating roster.
- A free Opal travel card for use on buses, ferries, trains, and light rail within the Sydney metro area.
