Project Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Project Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a Project Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and correcting payroll errors related to entitlements under various Awards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in interpreting Awards and experience in payroll remediation or reconciliation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and correct payroll errors related to entitlements under various Awards
  • Perform superannuation recalculations in line with legislation
  • Prepare and submit updated data to the ATO
  • Validate and analyse data using Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate, on-time delivery
  • Contribute to best-practice payroll reconciliation methods

Requirements:

  • Strong background in interpreting Awards
  • Experience in payroll remediation or reconciliation projects
  • Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
  • iChris software knowledge desirable
  • Available for immediate start and able to commit for minimum 4 weeks
  • Strong communicator and team player with a proactive mindset
