Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Essential Services Technician to perform critical tasks in line with Australian Standards.

  • Maintain and repair portable fire protection equipment, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Care for hose reels and hydrant valves, guaranteeing they are always in working order.
  • Perform routine maintenance on emergency and exit lighting systems.
  • Inspect and maintain signage and means of egress.
  • Keep fire and smoke doors well-maintained.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Accurately document all service activities and report defects.
  • Assist with quotations for repairs and equipment replacements.
  • Promote outstanding customer satisfaction through excellent support.
  • Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles.
  • Evaluate and adhere to client and company safety policies and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • A Working With Children Check (preferred but not essential) will be considered.
  • A Year 12 completion or equivalent is preferred but not required.
