Job Overview

The role of Senior Cost Controller involves a key responsibility in monitoring, controlling and reporting current and forecast expenditures against approved man hour budgets to enable Project Management to ensure that the final project costs are within the approved budget.

This includes working on diverse range of projects across various industries including onshore and offshore oil and gas, chemicals, water infrastructure and future energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project budgets in accordance with project estimate and work breakdown structure.
  • Monitor and control cost activities through all phases of a project's lifecycle.
  • Implement change control as per project processes.
  • Prepare up-to-date cost reports showing approved budgets, commitments, expenditures and forecasts.
  • Achieve effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Senior level with 10-15 years of experience for Engineering or EPC contractors.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • Advanced skills in cost control processes of multi-discipline EPCM and EPC projects.
  • Experience in cost management software.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel usage.
