About the Role

The Principal Project Manager/Delivery Executive plays a critical role in the Delivery Success team within the SAP CS&D ANZ business. This position ensures the successful delivery of SAP cloud projects across all stages of the lifecycle.

You will be responsible for managing multiple projects or programs, providing leadership to cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to project management methodology best practices.

This includes:

  • Providing input into the proposal during the Bid Phase, focusing on delivery methodology, project structure, organization, scoping, estimation, and risk assessment
  • Ensuring timely and appropriate customer sign-off
  • Capturing lessons learned and transferring knowledge to subsequent owners
  • Fostering strong customer C-level relationships on strategic accounts

Key Responsibilities

This role requires excellent facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with executive stakeholders, partners, and SAP account teams.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Representing delivery to drive and define project scope, schedule, resourcing, effort estimations, and risk assessment for key deals and opportunities
  • Supporting solutioning of deals to ensure successful delivery from customer outcomes and financial perspectives
  • Evaluating complex situations accurately and identifying viable solutions for successful outcomes

Operational Excellence

This role involves ensuring transparency and predictability of engagements under delivery within SAP, Partners, and Customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining highest standards of business integrity and compliance on all programs
  • Driving compliance through utilization of internal tools and adhering to processes
  • Working closely with Project Sponsors and Project Review Boards to facilitate timely decisions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of project management experience in delivering medium to large-scale cloud projects
  • 2-3 years program management experience or significant experience in managing complex projects
  • Experience working for and/or delivering projects within government agencies (preferred)
  • Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and cross-functional teams
  • Expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope, and quality
  • Ability to identify risks and anticipate challenges
